Flirty Feathers

Hello my dears!! Just a casual work outfit with a little feathered twist. I love the use of feathers, they make every outfit that much more funky. The day was beautiful, and as everyone who lives in Los Angeles it is always changing. I am having a love affair with high waisted bottoms. They really accentuate the feminine waist. I got these that I am wearing at Forever21, absolutely love them. The button detail in the middle gives them a nautical feeling, which pairs lovely with stripes or shades of red.

I have been of a blogging break for a month now, and I know in the blogger world that is a lifetime!! I am happy and excited to begin blogging again. Holly Peplum!! This is one of the fashion trends I cannot get enough of. Peplum has been seen everywhere in the runways in the form of dresses, skirts, pants, and even some shirts. Even celebrities like Beyonce have been rocking the Peplum look. It certainly may be seen as a Man Repelling inspiration but has been proving time and time its high fashion! Spring 2012 Fashion Trend: Bold Colors and Prints

This Spring 2012 fashion is taking a sidestep from the traditional pastels and floral prints. Fashion has gone bold, daring prints,and luxurious colors were seen on the runway. I was in love with the runway show because of the fashions from Michael Kors and Donna Karan. The bold prints are mesmerizing and have a form of seduction suiting the sultry hot days to come during the summer. I can definitely predict lots of animal prints for the bathing suit season. Feeling the Holiday Spirit

Hey everyone, just wanted to get in a quick post because today is going to be hectic. I am making my own strawberry jam, and blackberry jalapeno jam for the first time.
